Google calling just went live in my Gmail.

Call quality seems better than Skype. If that continues, I’ll retire my $3/mo. Skype account.

I was very impressed with call quality.  But note that the big G has committed to free calling for the USA and Canada only until 2010.

I would be very very surprised if they didn’t log all calls.  I half expect them to use voice analysis to help sell ads.  The fun part is that is a testable hypothesis.

Useless, unless you use Gmail. I will stick to my own webmail solution which I have 100% control over, thank you.
