I understand the point he was trying to make - September 11 was some of our chickens coming home to roost, essentially; I basically agree and am still annoyed that nobody is interested in trying to understand why lots of the planet hates us, or at least our government - but he picked a *very* bad metaphor. I understand wanting to use tendentious language to get people’s attention, but that’s a technique better suited to the Al Sharpton’s of the world than academics.
