WSJ: You Can’t Take a Lifetime to Get It Done.
Well now, one has to choose an interesting personality. I loved the Roosevelt series of biographies by Edmund Morris. LBJ? I expect a snore beyond the first book. A targeted, narrower book digging into, say, “LBJ and Vietnam” would get my interest more than a wide-ranging bio.
