What engenders change? Pain. Multiply this event by many, many Democrats … and you have a Republican president in ‘16. Why the Tea Party pushed the government to the brink of default, I’ll never figure out. All they need do is sit on their fat a$$es and wait for the howling to start about the ACA.

Yes, but because the Tea Party didn’t Democrats have a pretty good chance while the Republican party starts a return to center that may make them a viable party again.
And notice the end of the article, if he shifts more income toward Retirement, they suddenly qualify for subsidies that almost zero out the projected costs.
I imagine there will be some leveling of costs once they figure out some of the return data.
