NPR: Neuwirth Returns To Broadway, With More ‘Class’ Than Ever.

Sounds exactly the same; ageless. Bebe was a classmate in Mr Stezin’s Art II class at PHS. She, myself, Lisa Dormer and Ray Brower shared the same table, facing Mr Stezin’s desk. It was an unforgettable, entertaining period. Ray Brower spent most days selling Jimi Hendrix’ music to me and trying to convince Mr Stezin that you don’t need four ears to listen to quadrophonic music systems. Lisa was a happy, pretty girl taking art as an elective. All were older than my sophomore (-ic) self, juniors and seniors. Bebe … ‘driven’ is about the best word. Shades of ‘Lilith’ from Cheers, as we discussed various current events while doing our art pieces. I can honestly wish more of her drive had rubbed off on me at the time. Mr Stezin got very frustrated with me at the end of that year; he had me pegged as someone who was going to go on to an art college. I, however, had never met or heard of any artist actually making a living, so I never considered it.
