I’m back, taking some time to ease back in.

The immediate deadlines have passed. It’ll take me a bit to get back into the swing of blogging again.

It’s been peculiarly refreshing to have sat in the back seat for a bit. Of all things, political commentary seems to be the most useless, from this perspective. I see others handicapping Republican debate contestants - who do you remember from the Democratic debates four years ago? Exactly. Waste of time. I’ll pay attention to policy discussions - but not the individual nutjobs. Flat taxes from those suffering from adult-onset plagiocephaly (er, ‘flatheads’)? Sure, I’ll express an opinion (already did, in fact).

The medical term you are looking for, I believe, is microdeckia (not playing with a full deck.) Usually a comorbid condition of acluesia. grin
