Guardian.UK: Timbuktu world heritage site attacked by Islamists.
Comments:
Sigh. I am so sick of the term Islamists. If a purist is someone passionate about the purity or authenticity of something, wouldn’t a Islamist be concerned about the purity or authenticity of the religion? Yet what these separatists did violate everything about Islam.
Let’s call them by their true names: militants. Radicals. Extremists. Haters.
