Discover: Is Louisiana’s Oil-Blocking Sand Berm Project Doomed?

“Build a wall of sand: That was Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal’s answer to protecting the state’s delicate marshlands when it became clear that BP wasn’t going to stop its gushing oil leak anytime soon. But now the federal government has put the kibosh on Louisiana’s construction, saying that the project to save one ecologically sensitive area will ruin another.”  In the meantime Jindal’s screaming about the Feds, yet has hardly utilized the National Guard. And not just Jindal. Gulf states are not using the Federal resources they currently have? Must be nice to have that kind of comfort zone, to be able to play politics with a disaster. Brings Nero to mind.
