CreativePro: Scanning Around With Gene - When Letraset Was King.
This is what went on in the art department when I started working in Manhattan. I was lucky enough to live through the change, being an individual who understood computers and could make them dance … and effectively eliminated the two dozen production artists with a couple of Macs, a couple of Everex PC clones, a bundle of NuVista and TVL graphics boards, and a laser printer. There was no real opposition to the computerization of the art department, simply excitement at the opportunities computerization would bring.
