For the photographically curious,

I just finished my ‘large project’, so I felt safe in trying the Lightroom 1.2 update again (for those who don’t know, the update twanged my desktop, but installed fine on my laptop).  It went without a hitch.  I have a feeling that one of my other programs’ automatic update features decided to install at the same time I was updating LR.  Lesson learned.  This install seemed terribly anticlimactic.
