Yahoo News:

McCain raises more than $15M in March. A trickle compared to the Dems.  What is most interesting is the last sentence: “So far, the Republican National Committee has been a far more effective fundraiser than the Democratic National Committee. At the end of February, the RNC had $25 million in the bank; the DNC had $4.8 million.” My italics.

Comments:

The Democrats also still have a primary race going on. The Republicans don’t.

Also, isn’t giving money to the party kind of a way of getting around limits on how much one can give to a particular candidate? Republicans generally have more money to spread around.
