Whenever I get up really early,

watch the dawn, the sun come up ... I can’t help but think of being on the road, stopping at a diner for breakfast.  I’m sitting here, and my nose is remembering the fragrance of eggs, coffee, bacon, cheap maple syrup, my ears are nudged by muttered conversations among the truckers in the corner booth ...
