You and me both. 

We repeatedly pointed out: The wheel’s spinning, but the hamster’s dead. One taco short of a combination plate. Chimney’s clogged. Missing a few buttons on his remote control. Elevator doesn’t go all the way to the top floor. Etc.

Didn’t matter. He ran on tax cuts we didn’t need or want. That worked out REAL well.
