Rx for Sinus Patients: Wait. Well ... as symptoms start to appear, use a Neti Pot. Proaction is better than antibiotics. Though, in contrast to this video, I use filtered water, warmed to body temp, and am very careful to use non-iodized salt. Be sure it’s well dissolved. In a pinch, you can also manage this with a disposable water bottle ... just don’t squeeze the water into your head at high velocity. Gentle is the byword. I also use this after going to the gym during flu season. Allergy season, too. Flush allergens from your sinuses after coming back indoors. Makes life much more pleasant.

Yeah, I bought a set of saline bottles to keep in the car, for post-gym use ... the preservative left a persistent smell in my nose for hours.

Costco (regional, try Walgreens) sells three-packs of saline squeeze bottles (Ocean brand currently) that are handy to have in the shower. Be cautious of some brands: the stabilizer used may cause a burning sensation.
Home brew: you’re going for about a 0.9% saline concentration (to match the osmolarity of the body’s tissues and prevent cellular disruption). The orifice should be small enough to dispense a mist rather than a spray.
Since starting a daily regime several year back I’ve cut my bronchitis and sinusitis problems significantly. Allergy season? A lifesaver…
