SF New Mexican:
Smart says poor crash scores for tiny ForTwo were ‘expected’. It wouldn’t be so worrisome if every other car on the road wasn’t a pickup or an SUV. In a couple of years of high gas prices, it will cease to matter. At least you know about the fact up-front. Makes me think of the amazing exploding Ford Pinto, where any rear impact over 25mph would result in a fireball of gas tank rupture. How many of those runts were ‘first cars’ for teens.
