A New Mexican miscellany, offering eclectic linkage since 1999.

SF New Mexican:

Rabbit Road extension nearly complete. When I first moved to SF, I rented a gorgeous casita just off Rabbit Road.  I can’t help but think the college and other traffic is going to hit that area like a ton of bricks. The interstate noise is a given, but add the new train and now more traffic, and you’ve got a day/night switch in neighborhood character.  I like the bike-friendly aspect ... the Rail Trail from Eldorado empties onto Rabbit Road, which may make access to the college via bike easier than the previous bushwhacking through Rancho Viejo’s trails (ten miles of lightly-used singletrack and fire road). I also note the railroad is getting closer to completion.
