Fading pastime? Hunters becoming diminishing breed. I wonder how much is due to concern over Lyme, plague, and prion diseases.

West Virginia (of all places) is having the same problem, & a state legislator has just succeeded in passing legislation to offer a hunting course in high schools http://tinyurl.com/68jzsh . I saw another article which attributed the decrease to busy lives & sedentary children.
