There’s something unintentionally dramatic in saying ”Rauschenberg is dead,” as if to phrase it in that fashion one is committing an act of theatrical artistry, a premonition of some arthouse play to come.  “Screwing things up is a virtue. [snip] Being correct is never the point.” No doubt this post is a virtue.  Rest in peace, good sir.
