Millions With Chronic Disease Get Little to No Treatment. Irony is, as fast as physicians and pharmaceutical companies are selling you into a chronic disease category (depression, blood pressure, cholesterol, osteoporosis, allergy, asthma, ad nauseam), the insurance companies are selling you out of insurance. You would imagine that someone might figure out that if we can’t afford it, the well of paying patients dries up.
