NPR: Space Station’s Fancy New $27M Lookout Attached.

“The cupola, I think, is really one of the most spectacular viewing platforms that we will have had in space ... so we’re eagerly awaiting the release of the shutters and the first views.” Won’t do any harm to ‘space tourism’, either.  I’m sure more than one tourist up there has been chagrined to experience a wired orbiting dumpster with no spectactular picture windows.
