NewWest.Net: The dangers of using a chunk of metal to enforce mythical laws.
Road Rage for Cyclists Embarrassing, Dangerous, Un-American. So, over the past two days I’ve passed about two dozen cyclists ... not a single one behaving badly or illegally. But with automobiles, I did have a sodden drunk weaving behind me on Old Las Vegas Highway at 8:30 AM. A dozen cars not using their turn signals. Another half dozen merging dangerously. A woman talking on her cellphone in the passing lane on I-25 at rush hour, causing all kinds of mayhem as rushing commuters tried to pass her on the right. Finally, an elderly lady apparently spilled something in her Mazda 3 hatchback; everyone in three lanes heading south through Albuquerque had to slow down as she wove her way all over the road with her head bobbing over her passenger seat trying to clean up the mess.
So who are you going to rage at? You’re not worried about bicyclist safety. You’re angry that you had to take your foot off the gas pedal.
It’s good exercise. Get over it.
