Mashable: LinkedIn resetting passwords after 117 million user credentials stolen.

Reset your passwords. Again. Remind me, what do I need LinkedIn for? Hasn’t done a damned bit of good except suck a little time here and there.

Comments:

I’ve always felt it was somewhat useless but I recently changed jobs and while I was going through my interviews (all 6 of them!) everyone who was interviewing me had checked up on me on LinkedIn. It gave them a starting point on some of the discussions we had about different roles I had at my last company.

So yeah, mostly useless, but good for some people in some industries in some situations…
