Mashable: Half of FB users post political messages.

Yes, it’s gotten quite bad since a few days after OWS started. It hurts my head to look at FB these days. A lot of textual shouting going on, but little shifting of opinion. I’d like to have a political post filter, so I could block all of it. Not like I haven’t seen those items a dozen times over in my daily aggregator troll.

I’ve had no problem dumping friends and family because of political party bashing on fb. People from both sides (but mostly repubs) seem to think everyone they know automatically agrees with them.
I’ve got a 3 strike rule. You throw 3 mean spirited “Oh that party is so stupid” tirades out there, unfriended.

It’s like being stuck behind ... you know ... THAT person. The one with the dozens of political slogan bumper stickers. You can’t help but read them, and you wonder at how a brain can squirm so much within that brainpan in order to accept those diametrically opposed positions IN VERY LARGE TYPE.

[(and the fish. gotta have the fish. doesn’t matter if it has legs, fins or usb ports. fish is *essential* in rear bumperdom.)]
