$100 oil fuels tax flap over Big Oil, renewables. From March 4th — and I’m not believing this: “House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others in Washington have asserted that the oil industry doesn’t necessarily need extra tax credit right now.” Doesn’t necessarily need? After record-shattering profits? This is like saying Donald Trump needs a welfare check to stay solvent. The oil industry needs no such assistance. Channel those tax credits into renewables.
