Raised a large part of my childhood in small towns in Texas and Oklahoma where dinner might mean three different kinds of veggies with your fried chicken, still don’t get canned spinach - just awful.

I was a potato freak as a kid.  Any way you fixed ‘em, I ate em.  Corn, peas, limas ... I’d choke down brocc, avoided spinach, and artichoke wasn’t gonna choke ME ...
