finally, actually, saw the d3 and d300 in real life, in singapore the other day.... my gosh, the d3 is dauntingly massive, huge, need bearers to pack it around for you, and the d300, seems nice enough to hold, but i can tell my mind isn’t lured to buy the bugger, maybe just get one of those old d40 kits at costco for 479 us bucks, good enough, as the curious ken rockwell says, and packable in the shoulder bag i carry
