This is code. She’s courting McCain’s supporters, giving them a middle-of-the-road candidate that still believes in a bivalent world of America vs. Evil. They can also feel “liberated” because they’re voting for a woman.

This nation’s economy is about to enter full tailspin - the Dollar is the new Ruble. Bearing this in mind, it’s helpful to remind voters (especially in states that get juicy defense contracts) the nation’s war-footing is not leaving anytime soon. The military Industrial Complex jobs are basically, safe.
