AE Portal News: Lone Twitter: Apple lays off 40 of Final Cut team.

”Apple laid off 40 of my old Final Cut team yesterday, lots of good people, despite high profits.” That’s worrying, if true. FCP’s an industry standard. Is this a further signal that Apple wants to be merely a gadget-company?
