this house purchase has opened my eyes to something i guess i just didn't want to see. it's really pointed up that quite a few people are happy in blissful ignorance, performing their jobs with the least effort, collecting a paycheck, and going home. no thought of excellence, growth, aid or comfort to your fellow man, manners, or anything else. it seems insane to me that i have to call *them* to remind them of our deadlines and schedules, putting out fires during working hours. i can't wait to close on the house next week, and leave the drones behind.
